BUILD: ZS7 camera looks and feels as good as its predecessor DMC-ZS3. The design almost the same, only the switch and the mode dial is changed their places. An important addition - a GPS brand on the top right above the lens. The blue color is not so dark are conspicuous as on TZ5 and not as bright as on the ZR1. A small delle on the back with some fame on the right side is a very comfortable handle to use with one hand. A metal case looks pretty solid, but it's not so hard.
Performance: the new camera has a pretty good performance: the boot time is slightly more than 1 second and with almost zero shutter lag. Very quickly take a new "sonic speed" auto-focus, in which around 0, 35-0, 4 seconds, you will be able, virtually any incentive capture photo. And a dedicated movie button to start video recording at any time without any preparation.
Lens: Leica lens is simply excellent: unusually large for such a small place 12 x zoom starting with very well suited 25 mm telephoto 300 mm for indoor shooting (equivalent) as well as a fast and precise auto focus (but perhaps more slowly in low-light) and good optical image stabilization in combination with digital, that allows you to take sharp images throughout the zoom range and on the very low shutter speed around 1 / 8 and even 1 / 4. Auto-focus and optical stabilization work in absolute silence and some gentle 'sh-sh-sh' noise produced the only zoom. Good news without any start/stop-click on
the images.
View: a large 3-inch high resolution LCD with 460 K pixel has an excellent contrast and saturation-the pictures look very "juicy". The brightness is also high enough to see even in a direct sun light (just a little darker) and in a wide angle of view. All that allows to share photos and videos instantly with others.
Menu: for those, the Panasonic P & s cameras used before the menu ZS7 looks very familiar, some new parts added. There is also a quick menu button is very useful for quick access to the most commonly used settings. The new camera has such a luxury as the aperture, shutter and manual settings and there is a new exposure button (one next to the video), that the links right pressing the aperture and the shutter on / off buttons manually.
Automatic setting: intelligent Auto mode better is always the best in the business of Panasonic to each new model. It's actually a whole host of highly developed algorithms that help the really nice photos with minimal effort. You need to know about so here is a brief list of most effective value of them there.
"Intelligent scene selector"-schnell the lighting conditions, as well as targeted results, and then select portrait, landscape, macro, night portrait or night scenery. There is also a small icon of the selected scene in the upper left corner. The function is very useful if you quickly need to shoot to on the initiative.
"Intelligent ISO" - when the camera detects that the subject...
